Virtual Notarization Act

On April 23, 2020, Governor Baker signed into law the Virtual Notarization Act enabling Licensed Attorneys who are Notary Publics, and Paralegals who are also Notaries and under the direct supervision of an Attorney, to use videoconference technology, to notarize documents remotely during the present COVID-19 state of emergency.
